At X-Factored Youth, we believe that investing in the next generation is not just important — it’s essential. Why? Because by dedicating our time, energy, and resources today, we nurture the leaders of tomorrow — individuals who will carry forward our vision in their own bold, transformative ways.
Our ongoing partnership with Lourdes Primary School is a testament to this commitment. The school has embraced our work as a Youth Investment Company (YIC), and we’re honored to have been invited for the second year in a row to lead their learners — the future presidents, ministers, business executives, and cultural trailblazers of Africa. Consider this an official report on what went down this year at the Lourdes Camp 2025.
Day 1 – The Lourdes Welcome
From the moment the Lourdes Primary Young Leaders arrived, it was all systems go! Our dynamic team of young, passionate facilitators — Lexi, Thando, Maureen, and Londiwe — were ready and energized, eager to guide the learners through an unforgettable journey of self-discovery, growth, and leadership.
From the moment their feet hit the ground, 88 eager learners were immersed in the dynamic world of X-Factored Youth. The day kicked off with an inspiring welcome from Lexi, who introduced the team, shared our mission, and gave the learners a glimpse into the exciting journey ahead.
The energy in the room was electric as the children listened attentively, full of curiosity and excitement to begin. It didn’t take long for that energy to turn into action.
To break the ice, we jumped straight into an engaging team game that sparked laughter, encouraged interaction, and awakened their competitive spirit. At X-Factored Youth, we believe competition isn’t just about winning—it’s about unlocking creativity, encouraging innovation, and creating opportunities for personal growth. And from what we saw, these young minds are more than ready to rise to the challenge.
Exploring Identity, Value & Purpose — A Workshop for Growth
The Identity, Value & Purpose 2025 workshop was a powerful, interactive experience designed to help learners understand and embrace their unique identities. Through a blend of activities, reflection, and open dialogue, participants discovered how their personal stories shape who they are and how this understanding can become a source of strength.
“Wearing a mask wears you out. Faking it is fatiguing. The most exhausting activity is pretending to be what you know you aren’t.”
In the end, participants left with a clearer sense of who they are, why they matter, and how embracing their true selves can empower them to reach their goals — not despite their differences, but because of them.
What followed was three days filled with powerful moments, meaningful connections, and plenty of fun. Here’s what went down at Lourdes Camp 2025!
