The X-Factored Youth continues its mission to build bridges between young South Africans living across Germany. This exclusive network is dedicated to helping South Africans integrate into foreign environments while offering a strong support system throughout their journey abroad.
Recently, we had the wonderful opportunity to bring together young South Africans from two different provinces in South Africa in Stuttgart, Germany.
Karabo Tshabalala, a representative of the Southern African–German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a previous guest on our podcast, met in Stuttgart over coffee with two inspiring members of Lungelo Youth Development (LYD)—a nonprofit organization based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.
From LYD, Amahle Maphumulo and Nipho Mlambo are both currently in their volunteer year in Stuttgart. Amahle is volunteering with LKJ, while Nipho contributes her talents at Theatre Rampe.
At X-Factored Youth, we are passionate about providing a a platform for our South Africans to excel in foreign environments and thrive. This not a a win for our immediate communities to see one of our own flourish abroad, but it is an opportunity to allow our fellow South Africans to represent our country and her people abroad and gain the knowledge and skills that could one day come back into the country to make a difference economically, socially and politically.
This meeting not only strengthened connections between South Africans abroad but also showcased the spirit of collaboration and community that defines our youth. Through such encounters, we continue to grow a network of young leaders who support one another—no matter where in the world they are.
